This checklist is meant as an all-operative document the purpose of which is to facilitate the identification, compliance, and verification of the key aspects related to research involving potential participants, the uses of human biological samples, and/or personal data. It allows identifying ethical issues, but also methodological aspects, legal requirements and the societal impact of the research projects.
