A big opportunity for all DECISION early-career scientists (ECS) is to benefit from EASL’s educational activities. The EASL Campus offers a wide range of interactive resources, online courses, on-demand EASL Studio episodes, the bi-weekly EASL Quiz, the EASL Journal Club, EASL Congress resources, basic techniques in experimental hepatology, podcasts, slide decks, and other educational tools around seven areas of research, namely “cirrhosis & complications”, “liver tumors”, “viral hepatitis”, “metabolism, alcohol & toxicity”, “general hepatology”, “immune-mediated and cholestatic diseases”, and “basic science”. You can also learn about the effects of COVID-19 on the liver.
EASL also has a Young Investigators (YI) Task Force in charge of developing relevant content for ECS (see YI Learning Hub) and providing guidance to the EASL Governing Board on specific educational activities, including YI sessions at the EASL Congress and the YI after-work webinar series that targets young hepatologists.
